Unbounded Sounds
The next door to the unknown.
And once again, I find myself with Sofia. For me, her project ‘Unbounded Sounds’ is characterised by the expected unexpected. For me, every evening is a new journey into the unknown, a journey that begins with familiar means but always veers off into the unknown. The blank spots in my auditory landscape are gradually being structured and filled with color by this type of music presentation.
I really enjoy this. It is always a crossing of one’s own boundaries, an exploration of points of connection that then result in a wonderful togetherness. Is it a performance, or even a play? At least short scenes, poetry of the moment, carried by the wide sounds of the kanun. Yes, there can also be humor, humor to reflect briefly, to come to one’s senses.
Yes, today I am witnessing how cosmopolitanism with a wide variety of backgrounds comes together to form something common.
I am very grateful to you for that.
Finally, I would like to add that Savina has an impressively wide range of vocal expression, that Christian also varies his voice greatly and that Sofia, despite her almost permanent presence, keeps herself wonderfully in the background, making this evening a great experience.
Thank you.
