Sargfabrik Shabnam Parvaresh, Sofia Labropoulou & Matthias Loibner (IRN, GR, AU) Unbounded Sounds THU. 04. Dezember 2025, 19:30

Sofia: Hello, I’m Sofia, you’ re Shabnam. Would you like to walk with me for a bit? I enjoy meeting people and talking to them, so let’s continue on our way. Do you see the flowers and the trees? Would you rather walk there? Sure. It’s beautiful here, very different from down there. Shall we hold hands? Tell me more about yourself, I think we have a lot in common. You sing beautifully. Look, we can take a break over there and close our eyes for a moment and listen to the birds. Do you know the man standing over there by the side of the path? That’s Matthias. I think he’d like to walk with us for a while. Let’s welcome him into our circle and listen to what he has to say. We’re already high up here. The green hills are becoming rocky and the view into the distance is beautiful. Thank you for coming with me.

Shabnam: I enjoy walking with you. You tell me many things I didn’t know before, and I appreciate how you listen to me too. Down in the valley it is dark and narrow, but here the flowers beckon us from afar, here I can breathe, here I want to rest too. Yes, I’d like to take Matthias with me too. What wonderful things he tells us. We have so much fun together. We laugh a lot, and it feels so good.

Matthias: Sofia and Shabnam are coming down, I think they’ll be happy to take me with them. What interesting and beautiful things they tell me, how they listen to me. It’s a lovely walk up here. The air is free, and so are we. How gentle these hills feel, what power they hold. Like our conversations. This evening here at the Sargfabrik is one of the most wonderful I have ever experienced. Musically and personally. I am deeply moved.

Thank you: Shabnam Parvaresh – clarinets, Sofia Labropoulou – kanun, Matthias Loibner – hurdy-gurdy
